On a short list of boxings best fighters, Winky Wright dominated the 154 pound weight class, beating former welterweight king Shane Mosley twice in 2004. Wright moved up to 160 pounds by dismantling Felix Trinidad in 2005, earning Wright a title shot against middleweight king Jermain Taylor in 2006. Wright battled Taylor to a disputed draw.
